Noriho Fukuzawa
Senior Researcher, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST)

Dr. Noriho Fukuzawa is a senior researcher at the Biomanufacturing Process Research Center, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan. She also serves concurrently as an invited associate professor at the International Center for Biotechnology(ICBiotech), The University of Osaka. She studied plant molecular biology using Arabidopsis thaliana during her master’s program and subsequently pursued doctoral research in environmental medicine, focusing on the pathological mechanisms of endocrine-disrupting chemicals. After receiving her Ph.D. in Agriculture from the University of Tsukuba, she joined AIST. Since 2005, Dr. Fukuzawa has been engaged in research in the interdisciplinary field of plant-made pharmaceuticals (PMPs) and plant molecular farming (PMF). Her research focuses on advancing Plant Biomanufacturing and fostering new industrial opportunities through the use of plants as sustainable production platforms.

福澤 徳穂
産業技術総合研究所 主任研究員

国立研究開発法人　産業技術総合研究所　バイオものづくり研究センター　主任研究員。大阪大学　生物工学国際交流センター(ICBiotech)　招へい准教授を兼任する。修士課程では、シロイヌナズナを用いた植物分子生物学を学び、博士課程では内分泌かく乱物質の病態機構の解明を通して環境医学分野で研究した。筑波大学大学院農学研究科において博士（農学）を取得後、産業技術総合研究所に入所。2005年より、融合領域であるPlant-Made Pharmaceuticals (PMPs)およびPlant Molecular Farming(植物分子農業)の研究に取り組み、植物を基盤としたバイオものづくりによる新たな産業創出を目指した研究開発を推進している。
