We are delighted to announce that we will hold a new online training course on plant factories with artificial lighting (PFALs) in English in March 2023.
The courses comprise Introductory and Specialized courses with options to select Full or Business Focused classes, to meet various requirements and interests of participants.
The new Business Focused option includes only business-related content and a few general lectures with a shorter learning time at reasonable fees.
The Introductory course will offer elementary theory and practice of PFALs, basic knowledge of cultivation and operational management, and keys to business success.
The Specialized course will cover such issues as practical methods and novel applications, including a 60-minute virtual tour of commercial, large-scale PFAL and a live talk with Mr. Roel Janssen from Planet Farms in Italy to discuss the latest situation on vertical farming in Europe.
A live question-and-answer session for all participants will take place from 10:00-11:00 on March 22, Japan time, and the recorded video will be available soon afterward.
A special app used for the course will allow participants to interact with each other.
The alumni of the JPFA’s training courses in English in 2018-2022 are welcome to join the coming course.

2023年3月に開催予定のJPFA国際研修 “JPFA Online Training Course on Plant Factories with Artificial Lighting (PFALs) 23-1” についてご案内申し上げます。
コースは、基本となるIntroductoryコース、大規模植物工場のバーチャルツアー（60分）などを含むSpecialized コースの2コースがございます。また、新しくビジネス関連に特化したコンテンツのみを受講するオプションをご用意いたしました。詳しくはこちらのご案内をご確認ください。
Introductoryのコースは、人工光型植物工場に関連する理論や学術的な知識に加え、具体的かつ実践的なノウハウも学んでいただける内容です。
Specialized コースでは、Introductoryコースから一歩進んだ多様な視点からの講義を受講いただけます。イタリアのPlanet Farms社のRoel氏とのディスカッションなども予定されています。
なお、これまでと同様、オンラインで講義ビデオ（英語）を視聴頂けるだけでなく、新規事業立ち上げ予定者や、植物工場運営者などからなる各国の研修生とオンライン上で交流が可能です。
