Nanseki Teruaki

Professor emeritus at Kyushu University, Honorary President of the Japanese Agricultural Information Society

After studying at Cornell University in the United States, he completed the Master’s program at the Graduate School of Agriculture, Okayama University. He holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture from Kyoto University. His expertise lies in Agricultural Management and Agricultural Informatics. He held positions such as Chief of the Management Design Research Laboratory at the National Agricultural Research Center under Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries before becoming a Professor at the Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyushu University. Following his retirement, he engaged in various Satoyama projects in Okayama Prefecture, based on his family’s agricultural and forestry businesses. 九州大学名誉教授、一般社団法人農業情報学会名誉会長

米国コーネル大学留学を経て、岡山大学大学院農学研究科修士課程修了。農学博士（京都大学）。専門は農業経営学、農業情報学。農林水産省入省農業研究センター経営設計研究室長等を経て、九州大学大学院農学研究院教授。定年退職後は、岡山県で家業の農林業を活かした様々な里山プロジェクトに取り組む。編著書・論文・経歴などは科学技術
